Extended Cookie Policy

Cookie policies are very technical, and few people read them because they are too difficult to understand. Here we try to explain our policy to you in a simple way; in the following paragraphs, instead, we will give you all the semi-incomprehensible technical information that we are legally obligated to provide.

Cookies explained briefly

The SRB website uses technical cookies (required in order for the website to work) and third-party profiling cookies (mainly Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks whose button you can see on our pages).

We do not use our own profiling cookies (i.e. we do not spy on your tastes and actions!).

In addition, we have made Google Analytics cookies anonymous, i.e. cookies we use in order to know how many people visit our site.

The first time you visit the website or when you come back to the website after over 30 days, you will see a message on the use of cookies: if you click “I understand” or if you simply browse the page (even just by scrolling), you are implicitly accepting all cookies (including profiling cookies); if, on the other hand, you leave the page immediately….you’re safe!

Cookies explained according to the law (or at least that’s what we hope!)

Cookies are text files containing codes installed on your navigation device (computer, tablet, smartphone, smart TV, etc.) while browsing with a browser. These text files help us provide the service provided by the website. Some cookies are not used to operate the website, but for different purposes (essentially profiling), and these require the User’s consent.

Technical Cookies and Cookies serving aggregated statistical purposes

The cookies we use are divided into:

These cookies include, for example, those that allow us to know the number and origin of visitors and the management of statistics by the owner of the website. Our website uses the Google Analytics platform for statistical purposes: Google Analytics cookies have been anonymised using the appropriate procedure. Nevertheless, to avoid misunderstandings or inefficiencies about the anonymisation of data (which would not depend on our will!), we explain that Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google uses the Personal Data collected to track and examine the use of this website, compiling reports and sharing them with other services developed by Google.
